Being physically active doesn't mean only doing physical exercise. You need to do all your household chores which will keep you active. Engage yourself into risk free cleaning. Be cautious while working. Avoid washing machine, dishwasher, mops, vacuum cleaners etc. Engage yourself into physical work along with perfect intervals. Don't do everything together at once.
Read books - Read good books in your leisure time. Read more of positive learning books. Such books will create positive aura around you. Read comic books. Books with happy ending. Avoid negative books like horror, mystery dark or serious topics. Reading such books might arise anxiety, stress, depression or any other related complications.

Watching your favorite web series or tv can make you relax and might take you away from your daily worries. If don't like to read books this is good way to divert your mind. This can help you to keep high blood pressure and related complications at bay.
Continue to work - If you are working woman then don't quit your job. Continue to work till your due date is near. This will keep you physically as well as mentally engaged.
Keep yourself hydrated - Drink lot of water, juices, smoothies, soups to keep yourself hydrated. This will help you to keep your amniotic fluid in proportion. Remember if your amniotic fluid level reduces especially in last months of your pregnancy then you will have to go through un planned C - section birth.
Healthy diet- If you are usually choosy about your food. You need to specifically take care of your diet once you get pregnant. The birth giving process not only needs lot of calories but also proper nutrients for baby growth. Eating improper food might create complications like malnourished baby, improper growth of fetus in womb etc.
Read blogs or talk to experienced - Read blogs and understand in which month what is to be eaten. What kind of growth will take place is the particular month this will help you to add neccessary food in your diet. Need not worry unnecessarily. You can even speak to any experienced friend or family member of yours to understand changes which will occur in your body. You can also find out what kind of process you might go through. This will help you not to get panic during the process.
Be positive - From the very beginning stage of your pregnancy or even before you conceive be positive about what you want and how you want it. You will get that. Imagine everything how you want it to be. This will give you strength to go through neccessary process.
Contraction - In the last stage, once you get contractions don't worry it is not all at once process. It will happen slowly. You will get contraction in certain time pattern. Record it and notice it. Time period or gap will certainly decrease as the time comes near. Squats and warm bath can help you to go through these contractions. Don't immediately go to doctor. If you feel anything don't hesitate to consult over phone. Doctor might give you oxytocin that is a medicine given to increase or start your contraction.
Note - I personally feel natural contractions are far better than it.
Dilatation - Your baby won't come out unless your vagina is 9cm dilated. Even though you will go to doctor he might send you back saying your cervix is not open. Otherwise if the cervix is open he will admit you and let you wait till the vagina is 9cm dilated.
Note - Neither wait for too long nor be in hurry. Eventhough red or white sticky flow is dis charged doctor can't deliver baby if vagina is not dilated. Keep patience and stay calm.
Important Note - Every pregnancy is different.
