Baby food recipe ( Indian style)

Once your baby starts showing interest in solid food.You will start wondering what to start with. Most mother start baby food after 6 or 8 months of their babies. Various types of baby food are available at market according to age group. I would anytime prefer home made fresh baby food over stored food for my baby. Babies have fondness for sweet taste. Here I am sharing my recipe of baby food.
Baby Food

Ingredients 


  1. Rice (Good quality) - 1 cup
  2. Split Green Gram - 1/4 cup
  3. Almond - 1/4 cup
  4. Cashews - 1/4 cup
  5. Hard butter/clarified butter - 1/4 cup (Ghee)
  6. Sugar - 1/4 cup  
Process

Wash rice and gram and remove it into a clean cloth. Let it dry for 2 hours 

After two hours

Take pan heat butter into it (as needed for each ingredients). Now roast rice,gram,almond,cashews (each separately)
Let all the ingredients get cool
Then add all the roasted ingredients separately or together into blender along with sugar and blend it till it becomes fine powder.
(You can also add saffron or saffron powder in it)

Transfer the powder into air tight container and use it as per your need.

How to feed baby food to your baby

Take clean bowl add baby food then add lukewarm milk. Check if the consistency is runny. Check whether the food is not too warm for yojr baby then feed. 


This baby food is perfect mixture of essential nutrients for your baby. It is healthy as well as tasty.
